Welcome adventurer!!!

What do you think about the website? Attractive, isn't it? And the name of the company (Expeditions and Adventures)? Very original? or maybe straight to the point?

Let me explain, we were the first adventure tourism company in Arequipa that is because there was no need for a more elaborated name, but one that says what we do.

Since then it's been more than 20 years... and we are still here.

Thanks to the fact that we are known for giving first class attention to our coustumers. We know that you want to do some adventure, feel the adrenaline, know the world and live the life. But on your own terms without someone rushing you, getting upset because you did not understand their brief indications or even getting angry about your lack of "common sense".

Finally, before you continue exploring the website, I would like to remind you that sometimes the cheap is expensive; If you decide to go with another agency remember to ask about the status of the equipment, the level of the guides and especially what they would do in case of an inconvenience.

Best regards.

Gustavo Rondon, CEO and Founder

PS: I advise you to check our activities calendar before booking a service, you could get a discount.

What activity to do? Pros and Cons

Rafting

PROS:

  • Like a rollercoaster, but with more freedom.
  • Choose the river according to your capability (from 1 to 5).
  • It is not necessary to have a lot of physical capacity.

CONS:

  • You're going to get wet, with river water.
  • You will not be able to take pictures (but we will be able to do it).
  • If you fall off the boat the worst thing that can happen to you is that your friends will make fun of you.

Sandboard (in fact it is volcanic ash, not sand)

PROS:

  • If you fall you do not burn (unlike sand).
  • Only we have the right trucks to go to the best dunes.
  • Did you see the picture?

CONS:

  • The way to reach the dunes has no beautiful views (no matter what package is taken).
  • If you do not wear sunscreen you will have an ugly tan.
  • You're going to fill up with ash, a lot (but it's easy to clean).

Mountain Biking (and others)

PROS:

  • The views are magnificent.
  • Good for your health.
  • The guide goes at your pace.

CONS:

  • You need sunglasses, sunscreen and repellent.
  • Most people sweat.
  • Depending on the difficulty of the terrain, you could end up with buttocks pain.

Bodyboard

PROS:

  • Easier to learn than surfing.
  • It almost does not require physical effort.
  • There are waves for all levels.

CONS:

  • From the city of Arequipa, there are 2 hours until the beach.
  • If the waves roll over you, you're going to eat sand.
  • If it is not summer, you will not be able to get a tan (very likely that there will be no sun).

Horse Riding

PROS:

  • All tours with horses involve agricultural tourism.
  • You will feel that you travel in time.
  • It does not require physical effort.

CONS:

  • Mosquitoes have a preference for tourist blood, use repellent.
  • Horses do not have a bathroom concept like human beings (if you know what I mean).
  • Horses never smile for selfies.

Rock Climbing

PROS:

  • There are walls for all levels.
  • The satisfaction of reaching the top is indescribable.
  • The whole body is exercised.

CONS:

  • It can give vertigo.
  • Up to 2 people at a time, maximum.
  • If you stop grabbing the wall, you will hang like a piñata.
